EMS Shipping Service 2-5 Days
Japan in your hand uses EMS which is a fast safe way to ship anything from Japan and each package is traced from our doorstep to yours.
Most shipments take between 2-5 days. Currently, we only use EMS for our shipping, however we are currently investigating budget shipping systems for non rush items.

Japan in your hand or its agent will deliver the goods you order to the
address you specify in your order, within the agreed time frame, subject to
their availability. Where the goods are not available you will be notified of
this by Japan in your hand as soon as possible. We recommend that you use
your work or other suitable daytime address to ensure someone is available to
accept your order. An authorised signatory needs to be at the delivery address
to sign for and collect the goods and photo identification may be requested.
Anyone at the delivery address who receives the goods will be presumed by Japan in your hand
to be authorised to receive the goods. If your goods include products in respect
of which the law prescribes a minimum age for purchase, you must be over the
age of 18 years (or such other minimum age as is prescribed by the law), and
you must ensure that a person over that age is available to accept delivery
of the goods. Japan in your hand may refuse to deliver the goods if the
person receiving the goods is unable or unwilling to provide evidence of proof
of age. If there is no-one at the delivery address or no-one of appropriate
age to receive and pay for the order, Japan in your hand may charge you
additional delivery fees.
Once the goods are delivered to you, you will own them and it is your responsibility
if they are lost or damaged. Japan in your hand aims to provide up-to-date
images of all goods on this web site. However, our image of the goods may differ
from the actual goods.
Delivery is via courier and cannot be to a Post Office Box. Delivery is usually
within 2-4 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays) depending on
your location and provided all products are currently in stock.
Japan in your hand does not aim to profit from delivery but rather source
the most competitively priced, quality assured couriers, that will deliver your
orders to you as reliably and cost effectively as possible. As a general rule
we ship backorders for normally stocked items not able to be supplied with the
original order, free. We do however reserve the right to negotiate each order
individually based on size and on issues of supply beyond our control.
Import Duties or charges
Please note that you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied by the recipient
country’s government once the product reaches your country.
For all international orders, all additional charges for customs clearance,
import duties and taxes are payable by you. Such charges are not included in
the delivery fee or purchase price of Japan in your hand’s products.
We have no control over those charges and cannot determine what they may be.
We are not authorised by international governments to charge import duties on
their behalf.
Customs duties are not always applied. Each country has its own rules for determining
whether customs duties will apply. Some countries only charge customs duties
if the parcel has a value over a certain amount. Based on your country’s
customs rules, it is possible that your parcel will fall below that threshold
level.
We would also remind international customers that if, for any reason, goods
are returned to us from overseas (eg. for service, etc) it is absolutely essential
that customs documents are included. If they are not, it can be a very costly
process to obtain customs clearance and this charge must be paid by the customer.
Failure to include customs documents may also result in long delays. Please
note Japan in your hand cannot accept any responsibility or liability for
the suitability of any product for use outside Japan, nor its compliance
with local registrations. |
